Australia Square is a retail and office centre in the prime business district of Sydney. It is located on 264 George Street.

The building was designed by renowned architect Harry Seidler and associates. It is situated right next to international financial institutions and MNC’s with access to food and beverage courts, retail malls and basement parking.  It has been a major landmark in its precincts ever since it was constructed in 1967 .Then it had the distinction of becoming Sydney’s first big office tower. It consist of a 50-floors Tower building, an adjoining 13 floors high Plaza building, an underground 400 space parking lot and a refreshment area.Until 1976, it was the tallest tower in Sydney.

In the mid 1990s the complex was completely renovated. A program to replace all paving in public areas with Italian paving stone, add outdoor tables and new lighting was implemented in 2003.

Art work includes works by Alexander Calder,Norman Carlberg, and tapestries by Joan Miro, Le Corbusier etc.
